Support the Work

For a long time I shared my work publicly under the heading Content + Context. The images, essays, and experiments were open, provisional, and shaped in real time. That openness mattered. But work of this kind does not deepen through acceleration or visibility alone. It deepens through sustained attention.

This page exists to make that possible.

Rather than presenting finished conclusions, the work here follows aesthetic and philosophical problems as they are encountered. These questions cannot be settled in advance. They must be worked through, revised, and sometimes abandoned in order for stronger constraints to emerge. What appears here is not a polished narrative of outcomes, but an accumulated record of attempts—some successful, some failed—that gradually clarify what the work is about by exposing what it cannot be.

You are not being asked to agree with a position or adopt a framework. The invitation is simpler, and more demanding than that: to remain close to the process by which form, presence, and attention are tested against real limits. The work that accumulates here consists of photographs and paintings, along with in-progress images and sketches, short essays, and reflective notes. These appear not as supplementary material, but as part of the work itself.

Your support functions less like a purchase and more like patronage. It secures the time, focus, and independence required to pursue these problems without flattening them into statements or slogans. In return, it allows proximity to the work as it unfolds, before uncertainties are resolved or risks edited out.

Art advances through iteration. By supporting this work, you help keep it exploratory, critical, and uncompromised. Thank you for taking these problems seriously enough to stay with them.
